10 Years

It’s been a long journey. We’ve been called a culinary caravan. We’ve demonstrated an unwavering desire to share real Tuscan cuisine with NYC audiences. We’re constantly seeking to tweak and play with flavors, while respecting their natural bounty and seeking to capture both tradition and modernity. Ten years. 2014 marks our 10th anniversary at in NYC.

This year we are proud to present events again at both the High School of Fashion Industries and New Jersey City University, which we visited last year. And we will serve the general public at the James Beard Foundation as one of our capstone events.

In light of our anniversary, the true highlight of 2014 is a special private event for Apicius Alumni at the James Beard Foundation. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate 10 years at the Foundation by honoring the former students (including TT alumni) who have trained with Apicius faculty and have gone to amazing careers in the world of food and wine.

Another surprise in store for 2014 is a 10-year commemorative recipe book, which will be revealed at JBF events.

The 2014 Florence team has arrived and is hard at work with recipe testing, visits, and lectures.
