Gelateria Perchè no!…

Perchè no!… has a large clientele of both locals and tourists. One has to time it right when going as one minute there will only be four people in there yet ten minutes later a tour group is at the door and a line goes down the street. The gelato itself is delicious, especially the stranger flavors. I had the classic stracciatella (chocolate chip) and one if their own creations: fiordilatte con miele e sesamo (milk cream with honey and sesame seeds). Both flavors were light, not too sweet and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff are friendly and the overall atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. There is even a small seating area for about 12 people: three two-person benches scattered around inside and three across the street under umbrellas. I plan on returning to Perchè no!… many times before my semester is through.
