Trattoria Pandemonio

Pandemonio is located in the Oltrarno area of Florence, about two blocks away from the river on a more residential street. It is a small family owned restaurant, so depending on the time you go, reservations may be needed. The restaurant is a family friendly environment, with none of the normal tourist feel. The service was exceptional, and our waiter was attentive, nice and friendly. The food was out of this world! It is a traditional Italian menu and everything we tried had a home-cooked taste and feel to it. It. The vegetables in my soup were fantastic, they tasted fresh and were delicious. The plating was simple but pretty. They also have a full wine list to accompany the menu. We got our check right away after asking for it and our waiter wished us a good night when we left. I really enjoyed eating in this restaurant and I think it was one of the best meals I have had since coming to Italy. If you want to pay a little more for a really good meal, it is totally worth it.
