Apicius Executive Chef, Andrea Trapani designed menus reflecting a fresh Italian Riviera theme and recreating unforgettable coastal flavors of northern Tuscany and Liguria area.

October 24, 2011 – De Gustibus Cooking School at Macy’s:

Apicius Executive Chef Trapani will teach participants the secrets of Tuscan-Ligurian culinary excellence via demonstration and tasting a 4 course meal.

October 25, 2011 Astor Center: An opulent four-course buffet-style Italian aperitivo with an exceptionally ample array of savory Tuscan-Ligurian cuisine, including dessert and Antinori Santa Cristina wine.

October 28, 2011 – James Beard Foundation formal sit-down lunch
October 29, 2011 – James Beard Foundation elegant dinner

Both James Beard Foundation events begin with a tasteful garden aperitivo reception followed by another delectably abundant four-course menu of Tuscan-Ligurian gastronomic delights. Featured wines include Giardini Ripadiversillia, Azienda Agricola Laura Aschero, Castello di Volognano and Fattoria Sardi Giustiniani.
