De Gustibus is located at Macy’s Herald Square Manhattan, New York City. Arlene Feltman Sailhac founded the space in 1980 for food lovers. The goal being to entertain, learn, and experience a unique culinary performance at each of the events. “To continue the tradition of serving the culinary community by showcasing the talents of established chefs, rising stars, and sommeliers to food and wine lovers, with the utmost in hospitality” is the Gustibus mission. Today, De Gustibus is being ran by Salvatore Rizzo, who used to be the Director of House Operations and Events at the James Beard Foundation.

The Macy’s Herald Square location holds a special place in the hearts of American shoppers, being the flagship store of the department store chained. The beloved Thanksgiving Day Parade, covered on national TV, is just one of the many iconic features of this Macy’s.
